Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Chilliwack is excited to now offer Postnatal Yoga

The Prenatal yoga classes have been an amazing way for moms-to-be to connect with one another, with their changing bodies, and their growing little ones. Our Prenatal yoga ‘graduates,’ who have had their babies since attending with us, report that the yoga poses and breathing techniques taught to them in class helped them through labour and delivery.

Once baby arrives, however, it’s more important than ever to have that community available to you.

Being a new mom can be intimidating and challenging, and having a support group can make all the difference in the world. We now offer new moms a gentle, non-heated class where they can bring their babies and enjoy all the benefits that yoga has to offer! Postnatal yoga can help get you back into your regular fitness program, offer peace and tranquility, and can help reduce your risk of postpartum depression. Being able to attend a yoga class and bring your baby with you to a supportive community can make a huge difference in your week.

The best part? It’s at the same time as Prenatal Yoga.

Yes, new moms and moms-to-be come together once a week to offer support, guidance, and community. Begin your prenatal practice with us, get to know other women in the same place in their life as you, and continue to attend class with them with your new baby at your side.

Prenatal yoga is made all the better now with cute, cooing babies nearby, preparing both mind and body for all the changes that are to come.

Prenatal and Postnatal classes are every Sunday at 2:00pm, excluding long weekends. These classes are not run as a series, which offer more flexibility and allow you to continue your practice to regular heated classes once your baby is born. We offer two instructors with full yoga accreditation, plus additional prenatal training. Between them, they’ve had four babies, themselves! With Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Chilliwack, we work hard to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Join us this Sunday! We look forward to meeting you, and your new little one.
