This recipe is great because it can act as a dessert or quick breakfast. I make a batch usually on Sundays and it stays good for most of the week, plus kids love it!

1-cup whole oats- not instant!
1-cup oat flour (you can easily make by putting whole oats in a magic bullet or food processor)
½ cup chopped walnuts, or whatever nuts you prefer
¼ cup shredded coconut (optional)
2 tbsp. maple syrup
2 tbsp. coconut oil (use butter if you’re in a pinch)
Cinnamon to taste
Pinch of salt
6 apples peeled and chopped
1.5-cup berries or rhubarb

Preheat oven to 375 F
Toss your fruit together and layer it in a large baking dish.
In a bowl mix your dry ingredients
Slowly incorporate your oil and syrup, gently tossing with your fingers until its crumbly
Bake for 30 to 45 mins or until your apples are soft
